BASEBALL LOVER'S DELIGHT:
MORE THAN 350 GAMES ON AIR IN 2008

March 12, 2008 - ESPN Radio 1490, New Bern's radio home for sports, and its sister station, Playground Radio 1450, will broadcast more than 350 baseball games in 2008, including more than 175 major league games.

ESPN Radio 1490 will air every New Bern High School baseball game and will be the flagship station for all 140 Kinston Indians minor league games. In addition, the station will broadcast more than 60 Cleveland Indians games and at least 25 ESPN Sunday Night major league games. ESPN Radio 1490 broadcasts on WWNB 1490 AM in New Bern.

Playground Radio 1450, the kid-friendly sister station of ESPN Radio 1490, will air more than 100 Atlanta Braves games in the evenings this spring, summer, and fall. Playground Radio 1450 broadcasts on WNOS 1450 AM in New Bern.
